2022 New York City Trip

A group of 52 sophomores, juniors, seniors, staff, and parents from the Band, Choir, Drama Club, and Art departments spent five days in New York City during spring break. The purpose of the trip was to experience the intense and varied arts culture of the city.

Students had the opportunity to take in two Broadway musicals; Lion King and Come From Away, explore two art museums; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art, got a backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall, explored and learned much of the history of Central Park, China Town, Little Italy.

They walked the Highline Park to Hudson Yards where they saw the incredible art installation called "The Vessel" and the new public space, Little Island. They viewed the nighttime skyline from the Top of the Rock in Rockefeller Center and were moved by the National September 11th Memorial and Museum.

They are also very proud of the fact that their tour guide called them master subway travelers for never missing a single stop.

It was a very powerful and enjoyable trip for everyone.
