(ST. PAUL, MINN., March 14, 2022) - The No. 1 ranked Hermantown boy's hockey team used two goals from junior Zam Plante and a solid defensive outing to defeat No. 2 Warroad, 3-2, and claim the 2022 Minnesota Class A title Saturday afternoon at the Xcel Energy Center. It is the fourth state championship all-time for the Hawks.
Plante, Ty Hanson, Beau Janzig, Max Plante and Kade Kohanski were named the to Class A All-Tournament Team.
