Mr. Homstad took 24 students on a "Tour of Industry" field trip on Thursday, October 5th. The group toured Stanley Labounty and the LP Smart Siding plant in Two Harbors, and GPM Pumps Inc., at the air park in Duluth.
Tour of Industry is a statewide CTE activity that gets high school students from around the state out of the classroom for the day and into Industry, which allows them to see what kind of jobs are out there in the trades and what workspaces look like.
