As we look ahead to another exciting school year, the Hermantown Activities Department wants to make sure every student, parent, and community member is informed and ready for fall. Whether your student is a returning athlete or trying something new, here's everything you need to know to get started.
A Note on Leadership
This fall marks a transition for Hermantown Activities. After years of dedicated service, Alex White will be stepping down as Director of Activities effective July 1, 2026. Alex's leadership has shaped the culture and character of Hermantown's activities programs, and we are deeply grateful for everything brought to this role — from building strong relationships with coaches and families to advocating for student opportunities at every level.
We are thrilled to welcome Nate Buck as the new Director of Activities at Hermantown Community Schools, beginning July 1, 2026. We are confident that Nate will continue to build on the strong foundation in place and bring his own energy and vision to our programs.
Please join us in thanking Alex and welcoming Nate as we head into a great year ahead.
