From the cross country trails to the soccer pitch and volleyball court, Hermantown student-athletes once again proved their dominance in the Lake Superior Conference this fall, earning a wave of All-Conference honors across multiple sports.

Boys Cross Country

Junior Cooper Lucarelli was named to the First Team All-Lake Superior Conference, capping a strong season as Hermantown’s top finisher. Lucarelli’s steady performances helped the Hawks stay competitive among some of the state’s deepest distance programs.

Girls Cross Country

Hermantown’s girls were one of the most decorated squads in the conference, landing four runners on the All-Conference teams. Junior Ferrah LaLone, seventh-grader Nora Lucarelli, and eighth-grader Kenzie Davis each earned First Team honors, a testament to Hermantown’s mix of veteran leadership and emerging youth. Eighth-grader Zoey Lucarelli — younger sister to Cooper and Nora — was named to the Second Team, underscoring the Lucarelli family’s rare triple representation across both programs.

Boys Soccer

The Hawks placed five players among the league’s elite. Seniors Hunter Nelson, Quinn Andrews, and junior Ethan Aysta were named to the First Team, anchoring a Hermantown squad that surged late in the season. Junior Quinn Raukar earned Second Team honors, while Brennan Malmstrom received Honorable Mention recognition for his steady all-around play.

Girls Soccer

The Hawks’ girls soccer program also made a major statement. Seniors Avea Harriman, Brook Weise, and Cambriia Thomas were all selected to the First Team, reflecting the strength and experience of Hermantown’s senior core.

Senior Danika Bolf earned Second Team honors after a strong campaign in the midfield. Claire Niksich and Bryden Giesen received Honorable Mention, rounding out one of the largest team contingents in the conference.

Volleyball

Hermantown volleyball saw three players honored for outstanding play.

Senior Ashlee Pruse and junior Sophie Schulz earned Second Team All-Conference recognition, while sophomore Lilah Conley was named Honorable Mention. The trio helped Hermantown remain among the top programs in the LSC, combining power, defense, and leadership through a competitive fall season.

Girls Swimming

Anna Evans and Aedea Winter were two of four LSC competitors named Honorable Mention as voted by league coaches.

From distance running to soccer and volleyball, Hermantown athletes continue to embody the Hawks’ tradition of hard work and consistency. Their strong showing in this year’s Lake Superior Conference selections highlights not only individual talent but also the growing depth across the Hawks’ athletic programs.
